Guide awaiting review

1

Avoid Farming in Azshara

Skunks are very scarce in Azshara, so skip this zone entirely and focus on more reliable locations.

2

Hunt Secondaries in Howling Fjord

Skunks appear as secondary pets around Gjalerbron in Howling Fjord at levels 20-22. Start battles against Roach, Rat, or Spider primaries in that area to encounter Skunks as secondaries.

3

Farm Rare Skunks in Terokkar Forest

The most reliable source for a Rare Skunk is as a secondary pet of Flayer Younglings in the far northeast of Terokkar Forest. Note that flying is required to reach this area. Multiple Rare Skunks have been reported across just a few full clears of the Flayer Youngling spawns.

4

Choose the Right Breed

For the base Skunk, the H/H breed is mandatory, with H/P also recommended. The Mountain Skunk works well in H/H, P/P, or S/S breeds. The Highlands Skunk is mandatory in H/H and also recommended in P/P and S/S breeds.

Tips

  • Some players have reported better Rare Skunk spawn luck when hunting late at night after midnight, though results vary.
