The Silithid Hatchling is a wild battle pet found in Tanaris that only spawns during active sandstorms.

Travel to Tanaris
Head to Tanaris on Kalimdor and watch for an active sandstorm weather event — the Silithid Hatchling will not appear without one.
Search the Silithid zones
Once a sandstorm is active, check the Noxious Lair and the Gaping Chasm, the two known spawning areas for the Silithid Hatchling.
Battle and capture a rare
Multiple green paws can appear simultaneously during a sandstorm, so check each one since rare-quality Silithid Hatchlings have been found with stats such as 787 Health, 135 Power, and 135 Speed.
Tips
Multiple Silithid Hatchling battle pets can spawn at once during a sandstorm, giving you several chances to find a rare-quality one.
