Guide awaiting review
Check Daily Apexis Quest
Demidos only spawns when the Alliance or Horde has one of the two Apexis Crystal dailies for Socrethar's Rise active. Check whether that daily is available before heading out, as you cannot force-spawn Demidos otherwise.
Locate and Defeat Demidos
Head to Socrethar's Rise in Shadowmoon Valley and find Demidos at 46, 71.4. Defeat him and loot his corpse for a chance at the Servant of Demidos, which has a 15% drop rate.
Return Each Day
Unlike most rares in Draenor, Demidos can be killed and looted more than once per character, but only once per day. If the pet does not drop, return the following day when the appropriate daily quest is active to try again.
Consider the Auction House
If farming proves difficult, the Servant of Demidos is tradeable and can be purchased from other players on the Auction House.
Tips
Trial characters may not be eligible for the pet drop from Demidos, so farming on a full account character is recommended.
The Servant of Demidos is an uncommon-quality pet that can be upgraded with a battlestone. It has a single known breed (P/P), giving it 144 health, 15 damage, and 10 speed at level 1 after upgrading.
See the video guide for a visual walkthrough of the farm.
