Scurrying Mawrat
Drops from Fallen Adventurer's Cache. The nails of the mawrat can inflict one of several afterlife-ending illnesses. Critter type. These guys are a royal pain in the butt to capture. Always abandon / start again any fight in which they have Corpse Explosion, as they'll immediately kill themselves.
Scurrying Mawrat is a wild pet found in the Maw during Shadowlands that can be obtained by capturing it from 
Fallen Adventurer's Cache.

Locate and battle Scurrying Mawrat
Find Scurrying Mawrat in the Maw and engage it in battle. Avoid abandoning the fight if the pet uses Corpse Explosion, as it will immediately kill itself and end the encounter.
Weaken the pet strategically
Reduce the Scurrying Mawrat's health carefully. If it appears as the final pet in a multi-pet encounter, prioritize capturing it before engaging to avoid abilities like Haunt that can end the battle prematurely.
Capture with traps
Throw traps at the weakened Scurrying Mawrat to capture it. Multiple attempts may be necessary, as these pets can be difficult to secure.
Tips
Many Scurrying Mawrats possess the Corpse Explosion ability and will kill themselves nearly instantly; restart any encounter where this occurs to find one without it.
Avoid having Scurrying Mawrat as the third or final pet in a multi-pet battle, as abilities like Haunt can cause it to end the encounter before you capture it.
