Scorpid
From Freka Bloodaxe. Venom capable of killing creatures up to 100 times its own body weight. Beast type. They don't appear to spawn independently in the Eastern Plaguelands, but they do appear as adds in pet battles there.
The Scorpid is a wild battle pet found across multiple continents, available in a remarkable variety of colors including rose, black with red spots, yellow with black flecks, and brownish-grey with a blue-green underbelly.

Choose Your Scorpid Color
There are 6 scorpion battle pets in the game: Durotar Scorpion, Crunchy Scorpion, Leopard Scorpid, Scorpid, Scorpling, and Stripe-Tailed Scorpid. Each shares the same basic stats and moveset, but differs in color and breed availability, so pick based on the look and breed that suits you.
Hunt in Thousand Needles
Head to Thousand Needles to find the Scorpid battle pet, which appears in at least 4 distinct color variations: rose with black flecks, brownish-grey with a blue-green underbelly, yellow with black flecks, and black with red spots. Note that in the Eastern Plaguelands, Scorpids do not spawn independently but do appear as adds in pet battles there.

Tips
Since patch 5.1, the color-changing bug was fixed, so the Scorpid you tame will always summon in the same color you captured. When clicked, all Scorpids now make soft high-pitched insectoid trills, rattles, and clicks.
