Returned Hatchling
From Fossilized Hatchling. A terror in life. A terror in death. Undead type. I've seen it as a secondary pet near Sethrak Front while battling pets north of the coordinates, have yet to find it on its own 2 hours in.
The Returned Hatchling is a wild undead battle pet found in Nazmir during the Battle for Azeroth expansion, obtainable primarily as a secondary pet in battles across the zone.

Know Your Breed Options
The Returned Hatchling has been confirmed in B/B, S/B, P/B, and H/B breeds, so check the breed before capturing if you are hunting a specific stat distribution. As a primary pet it is extremely rare, so secondary encounters across the zone are the most practical route to capture one.
Tips
The
Fossilized Hatchling is a separate pet tied to a quest, not the same as the Returned Hatchling.Hunting primary spawns puts you in a mob-dense area of Nazmir that can be hazardous if you are undergeared, so secondary encounters are a lower-risk alternative.
