Guide awaiting review

1

Reach The Master's Cellar

Head to Deadwind Pass and locate The Master's Cellar at 47.86, 78.25. The cellar entrance is underground — look for a staircase descending into the floor among the destroyed buildings to the southeast of Archmage Alturus. There are two cellars in this area, and Restless Shadelings are found inside both of them, not above ground.

2

Arrive Before Midnight PST

The first and largest spawn of Restless Shadelings occurs at midnight PST for all US realms — this is 3am for Eastern time zone players. A second mass spawn occurs at 6:00am server time and a third at 8:00am server time, each producing roughly 20 shades. All spawned shades despawn at 9:00am server time, so plan your farming within that window.

3

Battle and Capture Quickly

After each mass spawn, clear both cellars promptly — shadelings do not respawn individually between mass spawns, so once the wave is cleared it is worth logging off until the next one. Rares appear more frequently here than with average wild pets, and every Restless Shadeling found has had Health as its bonus stat. A level 16 rare has 1078 HP, 166 Attack Power, and 175 Speed. If you capture a lower quality one, a Flawless Undead Battle-Stone can upgrade it to rare.

Tips

  • Both cellars at 47.86, 78.25 in Deadwind Pass contain shadelings — check both to maximize your catches before the wave is cleared.

  • Rare quality shadelings do appear among the spawns, though uncommons are more common; roughly 1 rare per 40–50 shadelings battled was reported across multiple farming sessions.
