Redridge Rat
Source: Pet Battle. The rats in Redridge grow fat from feasting on the bounty of the village larders. Critter type. I think the best way to find these pets is by battling level 5 critters (fledgling buzzard and mountain cottontail are the easiest to find at level 5).
The Redridge Rat is a wild pet found in Redridge Mountains, primarily around gnoll camps and farms, where it shares spawns with Roaches, Mountain Cottontails, and Fledgling Buzzards.

Head to Gnoll Camps
Redridge Rats spawn predominantly in and around the gnoll camps in Redridge Mountains, as well as at the farm to the north of those camps.
Clear Roaches First
Redridge Rats share spawn points with Roaches in the gnoll camps, so defeating any Roaches in the area will help Redridge Rats appear in their place.
Defeat Linked Battle Pets
Redridge Rats also share spawns with Mountain Cottontails and Fledgling Buzzards — clearing these pets regularly encourages more Rats to spawn across the camp areas.
Battle Level 5 Critters
If standalone Redridge Rats are scarce, engage level 5 critters such as Fledgling Buzzards and Mountain Cottontails in pet battles, as Redridge Rats can appear as secondary pets in those encounters.
Tips
Standalone Redridge Rats rarely appear outside of gnoll camps and are typically not rare quality when found alone — battling them as secondary pets in level 5 critter fights is a more reliable path to a rare.
