Travel to Siren Isle
Head to Siren Isle and confirm that the current weekly rotation is Pirates — the Proper Parrot only drops during pirate weeks.
Hunt Bicephalic Bill and Timmy Two-Tongue
Find Bicephalic Bill at 51, 62 and Timmy Two-Tongue at 55, 68. Both are elite non-rare pirates that can drop the pet.
Defeat Spare-Head Ed and First Mate Shellshock
Continue your circuit by defeating Spare-Head Ed at 65, 65 and First Mate Shellshock at 61.14, 68.89, both elite non-rares on Siren Isle.
Clear Finny Four-Eyes and Bert and Benny
Swing through Finny Four-Eyes at 48, 70 and Bert and Benny at 61, 48 to cover more elite non-rare pirates in your farming route.
Target Twin-Dome Doug
Find Twin-Dome Doug at 62.2, 90.4 in the southern part of the island — another elite non-rare pirate on the drop list.
Farm the Rare Pirates
Keep an eye out for the rare pirates: Chef Chum Platter at 66, 85 and Plank-Master Bluebelly at 59, 87. Both rares are confirmed sources of the Proper Parrot.
Loot the Mob Directly
When a pirate drops the Proper Parrot, it will appear as a lootable item on the mob rather than going directly into your bag, so be sure to loot each enemy you defeat.
Tips
NPC IDs for the elite pirates — 227644, 228582, 229168, 229169, 229171, 229189, and 229190 — can be entered into rare tracking addons to help highlight them while doing your rounds.
The Proper Parrot can drop from any of the named elite non-rare pirates or the rare pirates, so running the full circuit of all nine locations each session maximizes the number of attempts.
