The Pale Slumbertooth is a wild battle pet found sleeping near bushes and trees in the Emerald Dream, but it can only be spotted while under the effects of the 
Friendsurge Defenders toy.

Obtain the Friendsurge Defenders Toy
Purchase the Friendsurge Defenders toy from Celestine of the Harvest for 
500 Dreamsurge Coalescence. You can earn Dreamsurge Coalescence by completing World Quests, participating in the Dreamsurge event, or flying through green orbs. Celestine of the Harvest is located at the same spot as the Dreamsurge symbol on your map in the Emerald Dream.
Activate the Toy in Emerald Dream
Use the Friendsurge Defenders toy while in the Emerald Dream zone. The toy lasts 30 minutes and reveals the Pale Slumbertooth sleeping near trees and bushes. Without it active, the pet is invisible.
Fly to Known Spawn Locations
With the toy active, fly to confirmed spawn areas: near Shiversnap Grove at 35.75, 62.29 and at 34.31, 67.65, or further into the zone at 51.38, 66.59. The pets respawn within 5 to 7 minutes after a battle, so revisiting these spots is effective. You can use the macro /tar Pale Slumbertooth to quickly target one when it is nearby.
Tips
The Pale Slumbertooth will dance if you select it and type /dance.
