Head to Scalding Pools
Travel to the Scalding Pools in Borean Tundra and search the pools of water there for the Oily Slimeling.
Hunt for a Rare
When battling an Oily Slimeling, it will call two additional pets to assist it, and those companions are drawn randomly from the other pets found in Borean Tundra — this means you may encounter rare versions of other zone pets during the same fight.
Try a Different Realm
If you cannot find any Oily Slimelings spawned in the area after an extended search, try switching to a different realm, as spawn availability can vary between servers.
Tips
The Oily Slimeling's NPC ID is 62697, which can be used with NPC scanning tools to help locate it.
Acidic Goo combined with Corrosion and Absorb is a highly effective ability rotation that can defeat an opponent pet quickly while restoring the Slimeling's health.
