Nordrassil Wisp
Source: Pet Battle. During the Third War, thousands of these mystical beings annihilated the demon lord Archimonde. Magic type. Aren't Wisps, like, dead night elves? Does this mean my nelf druid may be using her own grandma in pet battles?
The Nordrassil Wisp is a wild pet found in Mount Hyjal during the Cataclysm expansion, caught through wild pet battles near Nordrassil.

Travel to Nordrassil
Head to the Nordrassil Inn area in Mount Hyjal. Nordrassil Wisps can spawn anywhere in that valley, including across the lake from the inn.
Clear Wild Pets to Spawn
Nordrassil Wisps are not common and have not been reported as secondary pets in other battles. Continuously battle and clear other wild pets in the area to trigger new spawns — the Nordrassil area has a quick respawn rate, rarely more than 30 seconds between new pets appearing.
Check Phasing If None Appear
If no Nordrassil Wisps appear after extended farming, try switching to a character on a different server or one that has not completed Mount Hyjal quests, as phasing may affect their visibility.
Tips
The Flash ability reduces enemy accuracy by 50% for two rounds — the in-game debuff shows the correct effect, not the tooltip. Use it before an enemy's heavy-hitting cooldown ability, then follow with Light, which hits twice against blinded targets.
Pairing the Nordrassil Wisp with a pet that has Call Darkness adds extra synergy, and Call Moonlight provides a 10% damage boost to all of the wisp's abilities.
