From Enormous Bullfrog. The mechanical frogs of Mechagon Island have evolved to eat various mechanical insects, somehow. Mechanical type. If you want to capture one of these, before you attack it, check its attacks. If it has 'Explode' on the bar, flee from the battle, then re-engage.
The Motorized Croaker is a mechanical frog wild pet found in the industrial area waters of Mechagon Island during the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

Travel to Mechagon Island
Head to the industrial area waters south of Rustbolt, near The Outflow. The Motorized Croaker can be found as both a primary and secondary pet in the oily waters of this area. A known spawn point is at 64.16, 46.75 in The Heaps, just outside the southeast exit from Crashcog Circuit.
Check for Explode Ability
Before engaging a Motorized Croaker, check its ability bar. If Explode is visible, flee the battle and re-engage. Repeat this until Explode no longer appears in its moveset, as this ability will kill the pet and prevent capture.
Use Secondary Pets as Backup
If you are having trouble finding a primary Motorized Croaker to battle, they also appear commonly as secondary pets in the same industrial water areas, giving you additional capture opportunities.
Tips
The Motorized Croaker counts toward the Mecha-Safari achievement on Mechagon Island.
Rare versions of this pet can also self-destruct via Explode, so always check the ability bar before attempting to capture any quality level.
