Search Rivers, Not Land
Moccasin spawns inside the water, not on the banks. Focus your search on the deeper areas of narrow waterways, as these snakes actively swim rather than rest on shore.
Check Isolated Water Bodies
If you have no luck searching the main waterways across the map, head to the body of water in the bottom-right corner of the zone, which is separated from the rest — players have reported finding Moccasin there when the main rivers came up empty.
Try Near Tamer Everessa
The snake of rivers behind Tamer Everessa, the Pet Battle Daily tamer, is a confirmed spawn location. Search the center of that river if other areas are not producing results.
Watch for Other Players
Moccasin is visibly sought by other players, and competing hunters or stray area-of-effect damage from nearby players can kill a Moccasin before you engage it — move quickly when you spot one.
Tips
Moccasin has never been reported appearing as a secondary pet in a wild battle, so you will need to find one as the primary target.
