Lost Soul
Drops from Secret Treasure. A soul, having faced the sins of the past, wanders lost in the recent turmoil of the Shadowlands. Undead type. The ability only makes the pet temporarily dead, you don't need to abandon the fight if you get it.
Lost Soul is a wild pet found in Revendreth that wanders the southern reaches of the zone and can be captured after its Haunt ability temporarily fakes its own death.

Travel to Revendreth
Head to the southern part of Revendreth and look for Lost Soul at 46.7, 75.22 in The Banewood or at 50.42, 79.07 further south. The pet spawns as a primary wild battle pet and does not require any World Quest to be active.
Kill Rosetipped Spiderlings Nearby
Lost Soul shares spawn locations with the Rosetipped Spiderling. If no Lost Soul is present at 46.7, 75.22 or 50.42, 79.07, kill any Rosetipped Spiderling in the area and a Lost Soul should spawn within a minute or so.
Capture During Battle
When battling the Lost Soul, it will use Haunt, which causes it to appear dead — this is temporary. Wait four turns for Haunt to end while defeating the other pets in the battle, then capture the Lost Soul once it returns.
Tips
Under the bridge at 50.42, 79.07 is a reliable respawn point where the Lost Soul has been found multiple times in succession.
