Travel to Ardenweald
Head to Ardenweald and navigate to the area at 53.6, 75.96 where Gormbore can spawn. You can force Gormbore to appear by killing a group of Evolving Mites near the rumbling ground dust cloud in the area.
Tag and kill Gormbore
Once Gormbore spawns at 53.6, 75.96, engage and defeat it. The Lavender Nibbler now drops from Gormbore's body at a 100% drop rate following a fix on January 19th.
Use the mailbox strategy
If you tag Gormbore at 53.6, 75.96 and then leave the fight by accepting an Arena Skirmish queue pop while another player finishes the kill, the Lavender Nibbler will be automatically mailed to you — this method is confirmed to work.
Tips
The mailbox strategy requires at least one other player to be present and fighting Gormbore to finish the kill — it will not work if no one else is engaged, or if Gormbore is already dead when your queue pops.
See the video guide for a visual walkthrough of the encounter and spawn location.
