From Challenge Warlords: Gold - Guild Edition. Equipped with extremely sharp claws, these frigid hatchlings dig through thick layers of ice and rock for shelter. Beast type. There are actually two separate skins for this pet, a dark blue with purple, and a paler, ice-blue.

Locate Icespine Hatchlings
Travel to Frostfire Ridge and head just east of the Horde garrison at 58, 64, just outside Grom'gar, where a long line of Icespine Hatchlings spawn in large groups that you can run up and down to engage repeatedly.
Identify the Two Skins
Icespine Hatchlings come in two visual variants: a dark blue with purple coloring, and a paler ice-blue version, so check each one you encounter if a specific look is desired.
Prepare for Battle Companions
Each Icespine Hatchling is accompanied by two other pets, most commonly two critters such as Frostfur Rat or Rat, though Flying pets like Twilight Wasp also appear; using a Beast with a hard-hitting ability lets you dispatch critter companions quickly.
Hunt the Rare Version
At 61, 9 in Frostfire Ridge an Icespine Hatchling respawns almost immediately after each fight, making it a reliable spot to repeatedly battle until a rare-quality version appears; one player reported finding it after roughly 30 minutes of continuous fighting using two Beasts and a moth with no downtime.
Level Carry Pets Here
This spawn location is well-suited for leveling carry pets at level 23 or higher: open with Rotten Little Helper using Greench's Gift, swap in a Feline Familiar using Prowl then Pounce on the second enemy pet, and swap in your carry pet to finish off the third enemy pet in approximately 8 rounds.
Tips
When the second enemy slot contains a Flying pet or one with Call Darkness, open with Booby-Trapped Presents followed by Greench's Gift instead of the standard rotation.
The companion pets alongside the Icespine Hatchling can themselves be rare quality, so inspect their quality before dismissing the battle.
