From Yarlyn Amberstill. Despite their idyllic surroundings, grasslands cottontails hop at surprising speed when evading their pursuers. Critter type. On the North side of Stromgarde Keep there are 2 ponds/lakes, they are surrounded by small frogs.
The Grasslands Cottontail is a wild pet found in Eastern Kingdoms that can be caught as a secondary pet alongside other creatures, or purchased from Yarlyn Amberstill at 70.4, 48.4 in Dun Morogh.

Hunt Near Stromgarde Ponds
Head to the north side of Stromgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands, where two ponds are surrounded by small frogs. Engage the frogs and the Grasslands Cottontail will appear as a secondary pet. Rare quality versions have been found quickly this way, and the frogs respawn at a solid rate.
Choose Your Breed
The Grasslands Cottontail is slower but more powerful than most other rabbits and hares. Breed 5 (S/S) provides enough speed to outpace many opponents, while Breed 7 (H/P) hits harder and works well against slower pets. In PvP, a Breed 7 with Adrenaline Rush can deal 420 damage per hit, outstriking a speedy opponent's lower attack value.
