Gorm Needler
Drops from Deifir the Untamed. There are more sharp pointy things on this species of gorm than there are on a Horde capital city. Flying type. drops from in the Banks of Life zone. It's kinda fun encounter.

Gorm Needler is a battle pet dropped by the rare elite Deifir the Untamed, found circling a small island in the Banks of Life area of Ardenweald.

Travel to Banks of Life
From the Glitterfall Basin flight path, head northwest to at 49.54, 31.42 and cross the first bridge. Turn right and head north into the Banks of Life area, continuing toward the water's edge at 48.52, 28.32.
Locate Deifir the Untamed
Wait at the water's edge and Deifir the Untamed will pass by — the silver dragon elite completes a full loop of the island roughly every 45 seconds. Deifir patrols at 46.4, 23.2 in Ardenweald and will not aggro you on its own.
Mount and Engage the Rare
Deifir moves faster than a mount, so position yourself still or move in the opposite direction of its patrol to intercept it. Once mounted, use Stunning Strike to briefly stun Deifir and follow up with your regular spells, as the Harry ability alone deals only around 200-300 damage per hit and makes the fight impractically long.
Defeat Deifir and Collect Pet
Slay Deifir the Untamed at 46.4, 23.2 to receive the Gorm Needler. Note that engaging Deifir will pull aggro from nearby mobs, so be prepared to deal with additional enemies during the fight.
Tips
Deifir the Untamed also counts as one of the special encounters required for the Adventurer of Ardenweald achievement.
When summoned, the Gorm Needler appears noticeably large compared to most battle pets.
