Golden Chirper

Battle Pet· ShadowlandsWILDPETCritter type
Pet Battle

Drops from Chirping Package. The golden chirper has managed to stay its pristine self, despite corruption attempts from both the Sha and from the forces of N'Zoth. Critter type. There can be only one of them active in the zone at the same time and because of the near instant respawn you should always be able to find one.

The Golden Chirper is a wild battle pet found in the Battle for Azeroth version of Vale of Eternal Blossoms, unlocked after completing the patch 8.3 questline introducing the Visions of N'Zoth.

Guide awaiting review

1

Unlock 8.3 Zone Phase

Before the Golden Chirper can appear, you must complete the questline that introduces the Visions of N'Zoth invasions to Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Without finishing this questline, the pet will not be visible regardless of how long you search.

2

Enter Vale of Eternal Blossoms

Fly to Vale of Eternal Blossoms and confirm you are in the patch 8.3 Titan Assault version of the zone — the assault itself does not need to be active. Only one Golden Chirper is active in the zone at any given time, but it respawns almost instantly, so one will always be present.

3

Search Known Spawn Locations

Use the targeting macro /tar Golden Chirper while flying between known spawn points. If the pet appears as a critter rather than a battle pet, kill it and wait for a battle pet version to respawn. Confirmed spawn locations are at 10.93, 67.53 — at 88.38, 47.71 — at 55.11, 41.24 — at 77.55, 24.64 — at 14.44, 22.84 — at 27.82, 21.54 — at 56.99, 47.65 — at 16.26, 76.15 — and at 39.49, 24.4 in Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

4

Battle and Capture the Pet

Engage the Golden Chirper in a pet battle to capture it. It spawns with rare quality by default and comes in three possible breeds: P/P with 1197 Health, 362 Power, and 264 Speed; H/H with 1522 Health, 297 Power, and 264 Speed; or S/S with 1197 Health, 297 Power, and 329 Speed at level 25. Note that this pet cannot be caged after capture.

Tips

  • The targeting macro /tar Golden Chirper is the most reliable way to detect the pet while flying across the zone.

  • The H/H breed offers the most survivability, while the S/S breed prioritizes speed — check the breed before capturing if this matters to you.
