Search Tanaris for Gold Beetle
Gold Beetles can be found in Tanaris both as a primary spawn (green paw) and as a secondary pet in battles. Rare quality specimens appear occasionally, so expect to battle multiple pets before finding one.
Check Badlands Hilly Areas
A smaller number of Gold Beetles wander the Badlands, specifically in the hilly areas near the edges of the zone at higher elevations. They also appear as secondary pets to King Snakes, which are more common in the lowland areas of Badlands.
Hunt Gold Beetles in Gorgrond
Gold Beetles have also been confirmed to spawn in Gorgrond, giving you an additional zone to search if you have not found one in Tanaris or the Badlands.
Tips
Gold Beetles appear as secondary pets in battles, so engaging other wild pets in Tanaris and the Badlands can turn up a Gold Beetle even if you do not spot one as a primary spawn.
