Fish in Vale of Eternal Blossoms
Cast your line at fishing pools in Vale of Eternal Blossoms, particularly along Whitepetal Lake at 50.2, 50.4 and the river running south toward the mountains. Pools respawn nearly instantly in this area, so you can efficiently work the circuit without traveling far between casts.
Fish in Uldum during Amathet Assault
Alternatively, fish from
Malformed Gnasher pools along the Vir'naal River in Uldum, particularly near the Lost City of Tolvir at 55.44. Fishing during an active Amathet assault increases your chances of catching Gloop.
Obtain the pet
Continue fishing until you catch
Bottle of Gloop, which contains your pet.
Tips
Players have reported catching Gloop in as few as 41 casts and as many as 423 casts, so patience varies by location and luck.
Focus on pool fishing rather than open water for better odds in both zones.
