Travel to Val'sharah
Head to Val'sharah and search for Gleamhoof Fawns across the zone. They are commonly spotted following stags and does, and can spawn in groups of two or three alongside their parents. Confirmed spawn locations are spread throughout the zone, including at 47.2, 38.8 and 53.4, 51.6 in the northern areas, and a dense cluster in the south around 49.4, 73.2, 50.6, 79.0, 52.4, 75.4, 53.0, 71.4, 53.8, 73.2, 54.0, 73.8, 54.8, 72.4, 55.0, 73.8, 55.4, 74.6, 55.6, 74.8, 56.2, 82.4, 56.4, 85.8, 56.8, 81.2, 57.4, 84.6, 55.6, 68.6, 55.8, 67.2, 56.4, 66.0, 56.8, 64.2, 56.8, 64.6, 57.2, 59.2, 57.2, 66.6, 57.8, 65.8, and 58.0, 73.4.
Initiate the Pet Battle
Gleamhoof Fawns cannot be right-clicked to start a battle — instead, left-click or double left-click on the fawn to initiate a normal pet battle. With the Track Pets ability active, they are visible throughout Val'sharah.
Farm a Group for Rare
If you find a group of two or three fawns together, battle one fawn and leave a single fawn remaining; the others will respawn as guaranteed battle pets, allowing you to repeatedly battle them until you capture a rare quality pet. The Gleamhoof Fawn can appear in BB, HS, PB, PP, SB, or SS breeds, with PP being notable for its level 25 stats of 1400 health, 325 power, and 260 speed. For broad collection purposes, capturing PP, SS, and one of BB, PB, or SB will cover the widest range of uses.
Tips
The Gleamhoof Fawn is the first fawn pet known to spawn in a P/P breed, making it worth targeting that breed specifically if you want high power stats.
