Gilded Wader
Source: Drop. These golden-feathered creatures do not lay golden eggs, for that you would need a golden goose. Flying type. You can get one of these, like I did, inside the Venthyr Greed's Desire chest in Crypt of the forgotten, Rivendreth.
The Gilded Wader is a pet that drops from Shadowlands treasure chests across multiple locations and covenant-specific sources.
Guide awaiting review
Farm Shadowlands treasure chests
Open treasure chests throughout Shadowlands zones. Players have reported drops from Bastion chests and other zone treasures, though the drop rate is exceptionally low.
Loot covenant-specific chests
Channel anima to covenant locations to access daily treasure chests. The pet has dropped from the Venthyr covenant chest Greed's Desire in the Crypt of the Forgotten in Revendreth, and likely from other covenant treasure sources as well.
Check anima conductor events
Participate in anima conductor event chests like Penitence of Purity, as players have obtained the pet from these sources.
