Search for Frostfur Rats in the wild as they spawn in variable sizes — some individuals are noticeably smaller than others, while larger specimens can be roughly 30% bigger than the smallest ones. If you want a specific size, you may need to catch and release multiple until you find the one you want.
Build Your Battle Team
The Frostfur Rat excels against undead opponents using the Call Darkness and Sneak Attack combo. Players recommend running one S/S breed for speed and two P/P breeds for power, giving you reliable access to Call Darkness before unleashing heavy damage with the P/P rats.
Choose Your Moveset
Call Darkness applies blindness, which then empowers Sneak Attack for a significantly stronger hit — making this combination especially effective against shield teams and undead. Crouch is the preferred defensive ability over the alternative, which only benefits you if you run multiple critters on the same team.
