Hunt in Moonglade
Forest Moths appear in Moonglade at around level 15, often alongside Silky Moths, Squirrels, and Rabbits. Rare quality Forest Moths are significantly harder to find here than Rare Silky Moths from the same area, with only about a 2% rare spawn rate observed.
Target Mount Hyjal
For the highest level Forest Moths, head to Mount Hyjal where they can appear as secondary pets up to level 23. Look for battles near Sulfuron Spire, where they have been found as secondaries alongside Fire Beetles.
Choose Your Color
Forest Moths come in four different colors and are found throughout forested areas. The moths are common enough to find, but locating the specific color you want at Rare quality will be the most time-consuming part of the hunt.
Tips
Forest Moths make a soft hissing, rattling sound when clicked.
At level 25 Rare quality, Forest Moths have 1400 health, 260 power, and 260 speed in H/H breed.
