Experimental Roach
From Micro Zoox. Experiments on this roach have grown it to an enormous size. Who would want that? Critter type. Pet: Location found: Close to Rustbolt and in the industrial parts of the Island.
The Experimental Roach is a wild Battle for Azeroth pet found on Mechagon Island that spawns rarely in place of the common Junkheap Roach, and can also be captured inside the Operation: Mechagon dungeon.

Search Mechagon Island Junkyards
Head to the industrial areas of Mechagon Island near Rustbolt and check at 67, 34.82, 64.2, 46.2, 62.59, 44.64, and 77, 52. The Experimental Roach shares spawn points with the Junkheap Roach but spawns more rarely — killing Junkheap Roaches around the junkyards can trigger one to spawn in its place.
Run Operation: Mechagon Dungeon
Enter the Operation: Mechagon dungeon on Heroic difficulty and look for the Experimental Roach at 67, 31, which is visible on the minimap shortly after entering. Reset the instance repeatedly until the pet appears — players have reported finding it this way within roughly 20 resets, and Heroic difficulty is the recommended mode as the pet was not reliably seen in Mythic or Normal.
Tips
The Experimental Roach can also be found as a secondary pet inside Operation: Mechagon, giving you an additional capture opportunity during dungeon runs.
