Travel to Nagrand Highmaul
Head to the non-instanced Highmaul area of Nagrand and locate Guk at 23.8, 37.9 inside a small building. This rare NPC was introduced in patch 6.2.2 and has approximately 3 million health.
Defeat Guk for Crystal
Solo Guk at 23.8, 37.9 and hope for the Glittering Arcane Crystal to drop — it has roughly a 10% drop rate. Note that you only receive one attempt per day at non-gold loot from Guk, though he respawns within minutes for other players.
Use Crystal to Learn Pet
Once you obtain the Glittering Arcane Crystal, use it to add the Empyreal Manafiend to your Pet Journal. This item is also available on the Auction House if you prefer to purchase it from another player.
Tips
Guk shares the Highmaul area with two other rares, Rukdug at 26.2, 34.2 and Pugg at 28.5, 30.3, so you can farm all three in a single session for a chance at all three Manafiend pets.
You can search for groups killing Nagrand rares in the Group Finder under the Custom category using search terms like "nagrand rares" if you want company for the kills.
