Travel to Ley-Ruins of Zarkhenar
Head to the Ley-Ruins of Zarkhenar in Azshara. A reliable spawn point for the Eldritch Manafiend exists at 55.91, 13.79, directly beneath one of the energy drain towers.
Wait for Nighttime Spawns
Eldritch Manafiends only appear at night, which begins at 8:30 PM server time. Erudite Manafiends occupy the same spawn points during the day and physically transform into Eldritch Manafiends when nighttime arrives, so do not kill the Erudites — wait for them to change.
Battle and Capture the Pet
The energy drain aura near the tower at 55.91, 13.79 does not count as combat, so you can initiate a pet battle there without interference. Eldritch Manafiends at this location have frequently been observed as Rare quality with a P/S breed, though H/S is not the only possible breed as sometimes listed.
Tips
This pet counts toward the Broken Isles Safari achievement.
