The Duskytooth Snooter is a wild pet found on Mechagon Island, obtainable either by hunting forest spawn points or resetting the Operation: Mechagon dungeon solo until one appears near Rustbolt.

Search Mechagon Forest Areas
The Duskytooth Snooter spawns only as a primary pet in forested areas of Mechagon Island. Confirmed spawn locations include at 39.35, 28.35, at 42.6, 29.6, at 40.6, 38.2, at 37.6, 50.6, at 77.4, 42.6, and at 72.6, 20.2, among others spread across the island.
Kill Rustyroot Snooters Nearby
The Duskytooth Snooter shares spawn points with the more common Rustyroot Snooter. If no Duskytooth is visible at the forested locations, kill the Rustyroot Snooters in the area to force a Duskytooth to spawn in their place.
Reset Operation: Mechagon Dungeon
A more reliable method is to enter the Operation: Mechagon dungeon solo, where several Duskytooth Snooters can spawn near Rustbolt at at 88.4, 22.6 and surrounding areas. If one does not appear, exit and reset the dungeon and re-enter. No enemies need to be killed. This method may take multiple attempts but is more consistent than open-world hunting.
Tips
The Duskytooth Snooter is one of three rare counterparts needed for the Mecha-Safari achievement, which also requires catching the Junkheap Roach, Mechagon Marmot, Scrapyard Tunneler, Rustbolt Clucker, Yellow Junkhopper, and Specimen 97.
