Dream Whelpling

The Dream Whelpling is a wild pet found in the Emerald Nightmare raid, accessible only after defeating the final boss Xavius.

Travel to Dalaran
Teleport to Dalaran in the Broken Isles, then speak with Archmage Timear and select 'Rift of Aln' from his list to be teleported directly into the LFR version of the Emerald Nightmare at 56.4, 37.03 in Val'sharah.
Defeat Xavius
Enter the raid and defeat Xavius. Once he dies, you will automatically be teleported into the Emerald Dream area where Dream Whelplings fly around across 7 spawn locations.
Capture a Dream Whelpling
Engage the Dream Whelplings — all 3 pets in each battle will be Dream Whelplings. The respawn timer is approximately 5–7 minutes. There are three possible breeds: P/P (1400/341/244), P/B (1465/305/257), and P/S (1400/305/273). The Anubisath Idol works well in this battle, or bring a Molten Corgi or Terrible Turnip if you want to avoid accidentally killing the pet.
Tips
You can re-enter the Emerald Nightmare using your Xavius lockout without clearing the full raid again, letting you farm Dream Whelplings repeatedly.
