Drops from Treasure Chest. Its proximity to crystalline mana clusters has hardened this broodlings body to an almost rocklike state. Beast type. I found about half a dozen of these underground in the Falanaar Tunnels and none on the surface.
The Crystalline Broodling is a wild pet found in the Falanaar Tunnels of Suramar, whose body has been hardened to an almost rocklike state by its proximity to crystalline mana clusters.

Unlock Falanaar Tunnel Access
Before heading underground, complete the quest chain tied to Arcanist Kel'danath and return Theryn to First Arcanist Thalryssa, which will unlock the Arcane Communion chain and give you a reason to enter the tunnels without fighting through all enemies blindly.
Enter the Falanaar Tunnels
Travel to the entrance of the Falanaar Tunnels at 20.8, 50.5 in Suramar — this is a large hole in the ground on the east side of the ravine bottom, south of Falanaar. If you have no map tools, draw an imaginary line south from the N in Falanaar and another line west from Meredil; the intersection is where you want to go.
Battle Crystalline Broodlings Underground
Once inside the tunnels, head toward at 23.8, 42 in Suramar where approximately half a dozen Crystalline Broodlings can be found. These pets appear underground and not on the surface, so stay in the tunnel area while hunting.
