Travel to Nemea's Retreat
Head to Nemea's Retreat in Bastion. This is where the 9
Larion Cubs are located and where Courage will eventually spawn next to Nemea.
Check for Medium Courage
Before gathering your group, confirm a medium-sized Courage is flying near Nemea at 57.04, 39.10 in Bastion. If it is not present, the event cannot be triggered.
Gather Players and Mark Cubs
You need a minimum of 5 players, though up to 9 can participate. The group leader should mark each Larion Cub with raid markers and assign one player per cub so everyone is ready to act at the same time.
Pet All Cubs Simultaneously
Stand very close to your assigned Larion Cub until your cursor turns into a gold hand, then left-click to begin the pet interaction. All assigned players must channel the pet action at the same time — using a pull timer is recommended for coordination. Emoting will not trigger the interaction.
Loot Courage from Nemea
Once all assigned cubs are petted simultaneously, Courage spawns next to Nemea. Right-click Courage to add it to your pet journal. Courage can only be looted once per character, but other characters on the same account can loot it separately.
Check the Auction House
If you are unable to organize a group, Courage can be caged and listed on the Auction House, so you may find one available from other players. You can also speak with Larionrider Orstus at 22.2, 22.4 in Bastion for any related vendor options.
Tips
If the first attempt fails, you can try again before Courage despawns — just repeat the simultaneous petting with your group.
If your group has fewer than 9 players, assign some players to cover two nearby cubs each, as confirmed by players who completed this with as few as 3 people.
