Enter Operation: Mechagon
Travel to Operation: Mechagon and enter the Mythic-only dungeon instance. You can solo this dungeon at max level.
Hunt for primary pets
Look for Yellow Junkhopper or Duskytooth Snooter near Rustbolt or at spawn points around 66.7, 62.8 near Gunker's pools, or at 68.8, 37.7. You can also encounter Experimental Roach (red dots) near these locations.
Battle wild pets
Engage the wild pets you find. Copper Hopper may spawn as a secondary pet during these battles.
Reset if needed
If you don't see any pets, right-click your portrait and reset the instance, then re-enter and search again.
Alternatively purchase
If you prefer not to hunt, purchase Copper Hopper from Flik at 52.4, 62.2 in Darkmoon Island.
Tips
Copper Hopper can also spawn as a secondary pet when battling Experimental Roach near Gunker's pools.
