Clinging Remains is a wild battle pet found in Shadowlands that can be captured during pet battles, though it tends to suicide on the third round.

Locate and battle Lost Limb
Search for Lost Limb battle pets in Shadowlands. When you encounter one, initiate the pet battle and defeat the Lost Limb in the first slot, then quit the battle to despawn it and force a new spawn.
Weaken Clinging Remains before round three
When Clinging Remains appears in a battle, use pets with multi-hit or poison abilities to lower its health significantly. The pet will attempt to suicide on the third round, so damage it heavily in the first two rounds to ensure it survives long enough to capture.
Capture the pet
Once Clinging Remains is sufficiently weakened, throw capture attempts. It typically requires multiple attempts to successfully catch.
