Speak to Lani in The Azure Span
Find Lani, a tiny tuskarr sitting on a rock, at 10.77, 48.02 in The Azure Span. She will give you Turtle Bait when you accept her dialogue option.
Use Turtle Bait to summon
Press the extra action button that appears after receiving Turtle Bait to summon a capturable Chalkshell Turtle battle pet. The pet will remain for 1 minute after being summoned.
Capture the Chalkshell Turtle
Engage the summoned Chalkshell Turtle in a pet battle and defeat it to capture it. You can forfeit the battle and resummon it if you're searching for a rare quality variant.
Farm for higher quality
Return to Lani after each battle to collect more Turtle Bait. The Turtle Bait has a 1-minute cooldown, allowing you to farm repeatedly for better quality versions of the pet.
