Farm Cats in Netherstorm
Head to Netherstorm and engage wild pet battles there. Roughly a third of battles in this zone will include a Cat, often as a secondary pet alongside two additional companions per fight, making it faster than camping other zones like Silvermoon.
Level pets while farming
Because Netherstorm battles feature high-level pets, you can use this farming session to level alternate pets by having them make one move before switching in your main fighter.
Try Arathi Highlands secondaries
Cats appear frequently as a secondary pet in Arathi Highlands battles, particularly alongside Tiny Twisters, making it another solid zone to find and capture your ideal Cat.

If you prefer to skip the hunt, purchase a Cat directly from Dealer Rashaad at 43.4, 35.2 in Netherstorm.
Tips
Rolling a Blood Elf character on a low-population server can give you immediate access to a Cat spawn right at the starting area.
