Buy a Small Expedition Shovel
Purchase a
Small Expedition Shovel from Pathfinder Jeb at 47.38, 83.38 in The Waking Shores. You will need this to dig up Disturbed Dirt piles across the Dragon Isles.
Unlock Dragonscale Expedition Renown
Disturbed Dirt piles require Dragonscale Expedition Renown 5 to dig, while Tuskarr Tackleboxes require Renown 2. Both types of nodes are visible on your minimap once you meet the respective renown threshold.
Farm A Guide to Rare Fish
A Guide to Rare Fish has a low drop chance from Disturbed Dirt piles and Tuskarr Tackleboxes found all around the Dragon Isles — it can take 50 to 100 or more attempts before one drops.
Reveal the Bubble Drifter Treasure
Use A Guide to Rare Fish from your inventory to mark the Bubble Drifter treasure on your map. If the marker does not appear immediately, enter The Waking Shores zone and it will appear.
Grab the Fragrant Plant First
Travel to The Waking Shores and pick up the Fragrant Plant at 40.92, 41.4 near the rock pillar before interacting with the Bubble Drifter — you must loot it first as part of the process.
Loot the Bubble Drifter
Interact with the Bubble Drifter at 40.48, 41.36 in The Waking Shores to receive the Azure Frillfish battle pet. This treasure is part of the Treasures of The Waking Shores achievement.
