Guide awaiting review
Grab Faerie Dust First
Before anything else, pick up a Pinch of Faerie Dust from Shimmerbough. This lets you fly directly to the Incense Burner later, skipping the need to use the Bounding Shroom entirely.
Collect the Aromatic Flowers
Head to at 36.42, 59.62 in Ardenweald, south of the Root-Home flight point near the river by the Skuld Vit rare cave, and pick up the
Aromatic Flowers. These flowers have a respawn time of 6–7 minutes and are not tied to the treasure spawn. Once picked up, a 10-minute timer begins, so move quickly. Note that the flowers won't respawn for you if someone else looted them moments before you arrived.
Reach the Incense Burner
With your Aromatic Flowers in hand, make your way to the Desiccated Moth treasure at 41.85, 32.06, located on a tree North-East of the Dreamsong Fenn flight point. If you have Pinch of Faerie Dust, use it to fly straight up to the Incense Burner. Alternatively, find the Bounding Shroom at 41.34, 31.49 in Blackthorn Grove, jump on it to get launched into the air, then carefully glide onto the tree where the treasure is located.
Burn Flowers, Claim Pet
Click the Incense Burner on the tree to burn the Aromatic Flowers. The smoke will attract the moth, which you can then click to receive your Amber Glitterwing. If you are doing this with another player, only one person needs to use their flowers at a time, as only one player can click the moth per spawn.
Tips
The Aromatic Flowers at 36.42, 59.62 respawn every 6–7 minutes, and their spawn is independent of the Desiccated Moth treasure itself.
If adventuring with a friend, coordinate so only one player activates their flowers at a time — otherwise the second player will need to run back for more flowers after the first claims the pet.
