The Alloyed Alleyrat is a wild pet found only inside Operation: Mechagon, obtainable as a secondary pet when battling wild pets near Rustbolt or inside the instance.

Travel to Rustbolt
Head to Rustbolt in Mechagon and look for wild pets such as the Yellow Junkhopper or Duskytooth Snooter spawning near the Operation: Mechagon instance portal — walk right and cross over the mountain behind the portal to find them.
Check Experimental Roach spawns
Experimental Roach pets also work as a primary battle target and can be found near Gunker's pools, south of Rustbolt at 66.7, 62.8. A second Duskytooth Snooter spawn point exists at 68.8, 37.7.
Battle for the secondary pet
Start a pet battle with any of these wild pets — the Alloyed Alleyrat can appear as a secondary pet during the fight. If no pets are visible, right-click your portrait, reset the instance, then walk back through the portal and check again.
Solo the dungeon if needed
If you prefer to go deeper into Operation: Mechagon, enter and clear it solo — be aware that straying out of the mission area triggers a vaporization countdown, so stay within bounds unless you are actively clearing enemies.
