Acquisition Guide

The Leywoven Flying Carpet is a low-chance drop from the Nightfallen Cache, a paragon reputation chest earned by accumulating 10,000 reputation with the Nightfallen after reaching Exalted status.

1

Reach Exalted with Nightfallen

Complete Nightfallen world quests and turn in reputation tokens until you reach Exalted with the Nightfallen faction in Suramar.

2

Farm Paragon Reputation

After reaching Exalted, continue earning Nightfallen reputation through world quests and tokens; every 10,000 reputation accumulated beyond Exalted awards one Nightfallen Cache.

3

Open Nightfallen Caches

Each Nightfallen Cache contains a small chance to drop the Leywoven Flying Carpet; one player required 59 cache openings across 12 characters before obtaining it, suggesting a drop rate of roughly 1–2%.

4

Farm on Multiple Characters

Each character on your account can earn Nightfallen paragon caches independently, so farming on multiple characters significantly increases the number of cache openings you can accumulate per week.

Tips

  • Farming paragon caches on multiple characters is the most effective way to increase the number of Nightfallen Cache openings; one player farmed across 12 characters before obtaining the mount at approximately 59 total openings.

  • Unlike all other flying carpet mounts — Flying Carpet, Magnificent Flying Carpet, Frosty Flying Carpet, and Creeping Carpet, which each require Tailoring skill 300 — the Leywoven Flying Carpet has no Tailoring requirement and can be used by any character.
