Guide awaiting review
Reach Renown 80
You must reach Renown level 80 with the Night Fae Covenant. The quest 'Shapes Beyond the Veil' will not appear until this renown threshold is met, regardless of how many Soulshapes you have collected.
Unlock 9 Soulshapes
You need at least 9 Soulshapes unlocked on your character. Critershapes may or may not count toward this requirement, but having 3 Critershapes alongside 9 standard Soulshapes is a confirmed working combination.
Complete the Quest
Once both conditions are met — Renown 80 and 9 Soulshapes — the quest 'Shapes Beyond the Veil' will become available, rewarding you with the Seed of Renewed Souls toy upon completion.
Tips
The toy lasts 10 minutes with a 5-minute cooldown, so you can chain it outside of combat to maintain the Soulshape appearance indefinitely.
Mounting will temporarily remove the Soulshape appearance, but you will return to it automatically upon dismounting.
The toy remains usable even if you have swapped to a different covenant after originally earning it.
