Progress through the Azsuna storyline until you reach the quest The Hunger Returns, which rewards Runas' Crystal Grinder upon completion.
Unlock Small Ley Crystals
Complete the quest Leyline Abuse first — Small Ley Crystals only become visible and collectible after this quest is finished.
Collect Small Ley Crystals
Gather additional Small Ley Crystals from objects of the same name found around the Ley-Ruins of Zarkhenar and the northern area of Azurewing Repose in Azsuna.
Grind Crystals Into Shards
Use Runas' Crystal Grinder on a Small Ley Crystal to produce 20x Crackling Shards, then use a Crackling Shard to breathe sparkling fire and make your mouth sparkle for 2 seconds.
