Guide awaiting review
Wait for Lunar New Year
Elune's Lantern is only obtainable during the Lunar New Year event period, so you must wait until that world event is active to begin the quest.
Receive Elune's Blessing
To complete the Elune's Blessing quest, you need to receive the blessing — you do not need to land the killing blow on Omen. You can join the fight already in progress and simply step into Omen's corpse after he is defeated to receive credit.
Keep the Lantern Year-Round
Unlike most holiday items, Elune's Lantern does not disappear when the event ends, so you can use it to create
Elune Stones throughout the entire year.
Tips
Elune Stones are useful for marking locations in raids, making the lantern a practical tool for anyone leading a group. The cooldown on stone creation is affected by Haste Rating.
Elune Stones sell for more than a
Solid Stone and require very little effort to produce, providing a small but consistent passive gold income from an otherwise unused inventory slot.
