Legion Communication Orb

ToyDROP
Drop

Drops from Doomcaster Suprax. Works pretty much like shaman Far Sight. In addition it gives you an extra button to spawn beacons around that location (That everyone can see!).

The Legion Communication Orb is a toy that drops from Doomcaster Suprax, a rare elite in Antoran Wastes, and functions similarly to the Shaman's Far Sight ability while also letting you place beacons visible to all players.

Guide awaiting review

1

Travel to Doomcaster Suprax

Head to the Altar of Darkest Rites in Antoran Wastes and locate Doomcaster Suprax at 57.4, 12.2. There is a non-attackable elite mob near the entrance — move past him to reach the summoning area.

2

Activate the Summoning Runes

You and at least one other player each need to stand on one of the purplish runes on the ground. Once all required runes are occupied, the players standing on them will glow with purple smoke, summoning Doomcaster Suprax. Note that only 2 runes are now required to activate the rare, down from the original 3.

3

Defeat Doomcaster Suprax

Doomcaster Suprax hits extremely hard and will instantly kill players who are not in a tank specialization. Do not interrupt his casts, as doing so causes an instant death. Use all available defensive cooldowns and burn him down as quickly as possible.

4

Solo-Summon With Alts

If you have two alt characters, you can solo-summon Doomcaster Suprax at 57.4, 12.2 in Antoran Wastes. Log out your main near Suprax, then log each alt in turn to place them on a rune and log back out. Finally, log into your main, step on the remaining rune, and engage Suprax. This method grants one attempt per day and cannot be repeated by rotating alts on the same day.

Tips

  • The Legion Communication Orb only drops for one player per kill, so coordinate with your group beforehand if multiple people want the toy.

  • When used, the orb lets you place beacons at a remote location that are visible to all nearby players, in addition to providing the Far Sight-style camera effect.
