Tips
The illusion persists through combat, spell casting, and damage — only death or manually clicking it off will remove it. Your weapon and off-hand remain visible while transformed.
If you use
Super Simian Sphere before activating the locket, you will appear as a very large night elf inside a pink bubble.Male characters who activate the locket and then use a racial transformation item such as
Orb of the Sin'dorei, Orb of Deception, or
Darkspear Pride will receive a female version of that race's transformation. The ghostly aura granted by the locket also applies to mounts, making them appear semi-transparent — similar to Shadowform.
This item was added to the game on the same day the
Faded Wizard Hat had its effect changed, limiting that hat to bank and town use only.
