Glittering Vault Shard is a toy obtained as a drop from rare enemies inside the Forgotten Vault in The War Within.

Enter the Forgotten Vault
Head to the Sacred Hollow and enter the Forgotten Vault at 51, 42. Once inside, you can track the rare spawns on your minimap.
Grab the Buff First
Before engaging any rares, head to the southernmost chamber of the Forgotten Vault and interact with the crystal there to gain the Glittering Vault Shard buff. Player reports suggest roughly 10 kills without this buff yielded no drop, while a kill with the buff produced the toy.
Locate and Kill the Rares
Three rares can drop the toy: Shardsong, Gunnlod the Sea-Drinker, and Ksvir the Forgotten — Ksvir only appears during the storm event. Ksvir has been observed with a respawn timer of roughly 5–15 minutes, making it a reliable target to farm. Shardsong and Gunnlod have less predictable timers ranging from 15 minutes to over an hour.
Defeat and Loot the Rare
Kill whichever rare is available — both Shardsong and Gunnlod the Sea-Drinker have been confirmed to drop the toy. The item is Soulbound, so it cannot be traded. A 609 item level Protection Warrior was able to solo both rares without difficulty.
Tips
Ksvir the Forgotten has the shortest observed respawn timer at 5–15 minutes, making it the most efficient target if it is active during a storm event.
The toy grants a 15-minute version of the Glittering Vault Shard buff that you pick up inside the vault.
