Equip Stormforged Grapple Launcher
Before heading to the rare, have the 
Stormforged Grapple Launcher in your inventory, as you will need to use a Grapple Point to reach the event.
Travel to Thane's Mead Hall
Head to the Thane's Mead Hall rare event in Stormheim at 40.7, 72.4. This event is also part of the Adventurer of Stormheim achievement.
Defeat the Three Minions
Fight and defeat the three minions guarding the area: Asger Jarlborn, Erling the Lightningborn, and Strider Cuyler.
Defeat Thane Irglov the Merciless
After the minions are down, defeat Thane Irglov the Merciless at 40.8, 72.2 in Stormheim. The Faintly Glowing Flagon of Mead has a chance to drop from this encounter.
