Guide awaiting review

1

Locate the Vendor

Find the vendor who sells the Experimental Anima Cell in the Shadowlands. The item is also available on the Auction House from other players if you prefer to purchase it there.

2

Purchase the Toy

Buy the Experimental Anima Cell from the vendor. Note that any player level 10 or above can spawn the anima cell once purchased, but you must be level 60 to actually use its effects.

3

Use Portal to Somewhere

The toy's 'Portal to Somewhere' effect teleports you to a random location with a cooldown under one hour. Confirmed destinations include Andrestrasz Cave at 42.53, 88.57 in Ahn'Qiraj: The Fallen Kingdom, Raceway Ruins at 80.87, 75.54 in Thousand Needles, the Sheep Farm at 49.69, 13.83 in Elwynn Forest, Iso'rath at 48.29, 14.11 in Twilight Highlands, Verrall River at 44.98, 50.93 in Twilight Highlands, Mistveil Sea at 61.89, 41.72 in The Jade Forest, Zouchin Village at 55.72, 22.17 in Kun-Lai Summit, The Golden Isle at 28.65, 89.10 in Vol'dun, Tortaka Refuge at 54.79, 21.19 in Vol'dun, Shrine of the Storm at 67.80, 12.18 in Stormsong Valley, and Reflection Peak at 52.41, 51.54 in Highmountain.

4

Explore the Random Effects

Beyond the portal, the toy grants three known random effects: one that greatly increases your size, one that transforms you into a child version of your character (a void elf death knight becomes a void wraith creature, a worgen may turn into a shrunken Big Bad Wolf or a human child, and a vulpera appears without pants), and one that dresses your character in fancy attire. Combining the size increase effect with the World Shrinker toy and the Ghostly Iron Buccaneer's Hat toy results in an enormous pirate skeleton performing the orc shuffle dance.

Tips

  • Using the Portal to Somewhere inside a battleground will remove you from the group and apply the Deserter debuff — avoid using this effect while queued for PvP.

  • The toy does work inside raids, so activating the portal there will pull you out of the raid instance entirely.
