Complete the Quest
Obtain the Critter Hand Cannon by completing the Legion quest Wolf Pack Attack. No waypoint data is available for this quest.
Generate Resources Pre-Fight
Before boss encounters, use the Critter Hand Cannon to spawn 4–5 critters and attack them to fill secondary resources — this is particularly effective for Shadow Priests and Warlocks.
Fuel Fractured Necrolyte Skull
If no critters are available in your surrounding area, use the Critter Hand Cannon to spawn critters and feed them into the portal for your Fractured Necrolyte Skull.
Demon Hunter Soul Shard Healing
Demon Hunters can attack the spawned critters to generate soul shards, effectively providing a full heal on a roughly 5-minute cooldown.
Feed Your Toxic Wasteling
The critters spawned by the Critter Hand Cannon serve as a reliable food source for the Toxic Wasteling pet, allowing you to grow it regardless of whether critters are naturally present in the area.
Help With Belly Of Jelly
The Critter Hand Cannon is very helpful for completing the From The Belly Of The Jelly achievement, as the spawned critters can be used to fulfill its requirements.
